Cardi B shuts down accusations that she makes songs just for TikTok challenges
Cardi B has shut down accusations that she purposely creates songs with TikTok challenges in mind.
Since the pandemic started last year, TikTok challenges have taken over the social media platform, with users joining in on viral dance challenges set to music, and over the past day Cardi B has been accused of creating music specifically for TikTok challenges.
The accusations follow the release of Cardi B's latest single "Up", which dropped last Friday (5 February), which sparked multiple variations of the #UpChallenge on TikTok that have circulated on the social media platform over the weekend.
Yesterday (8 February), Cardi B shared several Tweets that hit back at accusations that she makes songs with TikTok challenges in mind. The rapper wrote, "My videos been A1 from start !They got better the bigger of a artist I got soo the budget is going to double up . At first I only had 15 hours to shoot a video now I get two days .Killed it wit money & did choreography ever since Please me & press & never stop since ."

One user tried to say Cardi B is "forcing a challenge on people", leading the rapper to reply, "I never forced a challenge. I never offer MONEY or prices for no challenge .I never even posted hey guys do a challenge for my song .People do it cause they want to sooo miss me wit that shit .I pay ya to show me when I told some1 "hey do a challenge for my song"."
