Car Seat Headrest announces first full-band record Teens Of Denial
23-year-old Will Toledo has announced Teens Of Denial, his 13th LP as Car Seat Headrest.
Although it's his 13th record in total, it's his first to be recorded with a full band and producer (Steve Fisk), and in a "proper" studio.
Toledo's also shared lead single "Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales". Speaking about the track, Toledo says it's about "post-party melancholia. Wishing to either be a better person or care less about the whole deal. Going home alone, in poor condition. The ‘killer whales’ bit is inspired by Blackfish, which is a depressing film.”
Teens Of Denial is out 20 May via Matador.
