Canada was the first featured country at The Great Escape back in 2006, and from day one the festival has attracted a large contingent of Canadian Artists. This year will be no different, as for the third year Canadian Blast, the showcasing project of the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), will be taking over The Blind Tiger Club and turning it into Canada House for a series of day showcases. The Line of Best Fit are pleased to be partnering with them to help introduce you to some of the artists that will be passing through the doors during the festival.

Over the three days, different provinces will take it in turns to showcase their artists. Thursday is presented by MusicOntario, Friday by Nova Scotia Music Week, while Breakout West close out the series on Saturday with a BBQ featuring artists from Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta. In the lead up to the event we will be bringing you features, interviews, videos and a special Canada House edition of the Oh! Canada compilations, ensuring even those who won’t be paying a trip to the event can get a feel for what Canada House has to offer in 2014.
