Calexico detail album nine, share lead single "End Of The World With You"
Calexico are back with news of album number nine - The Thread That Keeps Us - and lead single "End Of The World With You".
The Arizona outfit are following up 2015's Edge Of The Sun with an album recorded in North Cali's "home-turned-studio" Panoramic House. The Thread That Keeps Us was co-produced with longtime collaborator Craig Schumacher.
"There’s a little more chaos and noise in the mix than what we’ve done in the past," the band's Joey Burns says. "Whenever we’re writing and we come up with something that feels too familiar, someone will end up saying: ‘that feels good, but let’s keep going and see what else we can uncover'... it’s been really important to the arc of this band’s evolution for us to always keep on trying new things."
Calexico have also announced a new European tour for next spring, including stops in Bristol and London. Find out more.
