Cabaret Voltaire to reissue compilation of early material

Having reissued their standout album Red Mecca last year, Sheffield post-punks Cabaret Voltaire will now issue a collection of early material shortly.
#7885 (Electropunk to Technopop 1978 – 1985) - as the very title suggests - compiles the seminal band’s output from 1978-1985. It follows on from a similar compilation spanning ‘83 to ‘85.
You can listen to “Crackdown (Radio Edit 83)” below, with this LP coming via Mute on 1 July.
