C. Tangana and Nathy Peluso unite on new single "Ateo"
C. Tangana has teamed up with Argentina-born, Spanish-based artist Nathy Peluso on new single "Ateo".
The Latin Grammy-nominated artists have unveiled their new collaboration "Ateo", which is accompanied by a video that sees C. Tangana, real name Antón Álvarez, make his directorial debut.
Speaking about the bachata-inspired single, C. Tangana said, "Nathy was the perfect partner for that," and added it's because they "share a rap background and are sonically exploring other traditional music styles."
Nathy Peluso said, "When Pucho first sent me the song, I immediately felt it was a classic. And when we worked together at the studio I reconfirmed that same feeling. It’s a project with a marvellous universe, and a fantastic video that is truly a piece of art, and a very interesting topic that challenges us all. Long live Romanticism!"
The new single follows C. Tangana's appearance on Alizzz's "Ya no vales", and is Peluso's first new release since July's "MAFIOSA".
