Burial is peering out from his top-secret beat den with a surprise new EP titled Subtemple.
The two-track release features seven-minute "Subtemple" and 10-minute "Beachfires" - both are avant-garde electronica gems that drift into ambient territory. They're in a similar vein to last year's "Young Death"/"Nightmarket" AA-side, albeit slightly more subdued.
This new EP follows Burial's remix of Goldie staple "Inner City Life" for Record Store Day.
Subtemple is out now digitally, or 26 May via Hyperdub as a 10" vinyl.
