Burial contributes new track "STARLORE" to Hyperdub's Konsolation compilation
Burial has contributed a new track to Hyperdub's 15th anniversary compilation Konsolation, which will be available as a Sega Mega Drive music cartridge.
The compilation will celebrate Hyperdub's 15th anniversary, and includes original tracks from 11 of Hyperdub's artists, including Burial, Kode9, Ikonika, Jessy Lanza, and more. Check out a snippet of Burial's "STARLORE" below.
The compilation is a collaboration between Hyperdub and Analogue, and will be available as a Sega Mega Drive music cartridge that fits in Analogue's Sega's Genesis console remake called the Mega Sg. The Konsolation album is bundled with a limited edition remake of the console.
Analogue's Mega Sg console is limited to 1000 units worldwide. Back in March, Arca composed the start-up jingle for the console remake.
