Built To Spill have released new single "Understood" as the second taster of their forthcoming album When the Wind Forgets Your Name.
"Understood" is the second preview of Built To Spill's new album, following last month's album opener "Gonna Lose", and is, according to a press release, is partly inspired by Evel Knievel’s failed Snake River Canyon jump in Doug Martsch’s hometown of Twin Falls, Idaho back in 1974.
When the Wind Forgets Your Name will follow Built To Spill's 2015 album Untethered Moon, and was produced by Martsch, who also mixed the record with Lê Almeida, João Casaes, and Josh Lewis.
"Understood" is out now. Built To Spill's When the Wind Forgets Your Name album will arrive via Sub Pop on 9 September, and is available to pre-order now.
