BTS share new collaborative track with Hyundai "Ioniq: I’m On It"
Hyundai have teamed up with their global brand ambassadors BTS to relaunch their line of electric vehicles with new song "Ioniq: I'm On It".
"Ioniq: I'm On It" follows on from BTS' English language single "Dynamite" that dropped earlier this month.
The new track was created in collaboration with Hyundai to coincide with the relaunch of Hyundai's Ioniq collection of electric and hybrid vehicles.
BTS' RM said of the collaboration with Hyundai, "For this special project, we have all focused on individual moments that are important to us. For me, time for inner self is extremely important, I believe we all need time for reflection to be able to grow."
Suga added, "We hope this song will inspire everyone to find time for what matters most and they can do the right thing for a cleaner future."
Speaking to Billboard about the campaign and its accompanying music video (due to arrive on 2 September), the group's Jimin said, "When I heard about the commercial shooting, I think advertising has a trend, and I think it’s been a while since a music video-style ad has come out like this. It didn't feel like a commercial shoot. It felt like an actual music video shoot. And was a refreshing experience for me. I had a lot of fun filming today. The car itself was so pretty. I hope we can continue to film more like this with Hyundai."
