BTS and Ed Sheeran's "Permission To Dance" confirmed for CD version of "Butter" next week
This afternoon (1 July) BIGHIT MUSIC has confirmed that BTS' upcoming song with Ed Sheeran, "Permission To Dance", will be the new track to feature on the CD version of "Butter".
Last week Ed Sheeran revealed in an interview with Most Requested Live that he's written a new song for BTS, which will appear on their "new record".
Sheeran previously worked with the South Korean superstars on their Map Of The Soul : Persona song "Make It Right", and earlier this week Sheeran answered some fan questions via his Instagram Story, and there were quite a few questions about his work with BTS.
After revealing that it's "great fun working with them" in one response, Sheeran was asked if he'll be collaborating with BTS in the future. Sheeran responded, "Yeah, I believe it's their next single. It's a song called "Permission To Dance", and uh, it's very dance-y."
Fans were hopeful that it would be the new track teased for BTS' CD version of latest single "Butter" earlier this month, and this afternoon BIGHIT MUSIC has confirmed it.
The four-track CD release will include both songs, as well as innstrumental versions. "Permission To Dance" is produced by Steve Mac, Stephen Kirk and Jenna Andrews, and credits Sheeran alongside Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid and Jenna Andrews.
