Bryce and Aaron Dessner have composed a soundtrack for Peter Dinklage-starring musical film Cyrano
The National's Bryce and Aaron Dessner have written and composed the soundtrack for upcoming musical film Cyrano, which will star Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett and more.
Cyrano is based on the 1897 Edmond Rostand play Cyrano de Bergerac, and will star Game of Thrones' Peter Dinklage alongside Haley Bennett in the Joe Wright-directed film.
The accompanying soundtrack, recorded at Abbey Road Studios, is written and composed by Bryce and Aaron Dessner of The National, and features lyrics from Matt Berninger and composer Carin Besser.
Songs from Cyrano will be performed by Peter Dinklage, Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Glen Hansard, and the music will be played by London Contemporary Orchestra and pianist Víkingur Ólafsson.
The soundtrack will feature a new song by The National called "Somebody Desperate", which is set to play during the film's end credits. The lead single "Someone To Say" will be unveiled this week.
