Broken Social Scene, Savages, Teenage Fanclub, and more announced for End Of The Road 2016
End Of The Road 2016 has added Canadian icons Broken Social Scene, razor-sharp post-punks Savages, and Scottish legends Teenage Fanclub.
Anna Meredith, Karl Blau, Local Natives, Thurston Moore, Sam Beam & Jesca Hoop, Whitney, Imarhan, Jenny Hval, Oscar, Methyl Ethel, Flamingods, Omar Souleyman, Scritti Politti, and loads more have also been confirmed. Day splits (and the rest of the line up) are still to be confirmed.
Comedian Stewart Lee will also be making his first appearance this year, headlining the comedy stage over the weekend.
Teenage Fanclub's set will be their only UK festival appearance in 2016. The band's Norman Blake says: "We’re very excited to be playing at End Of The Road Festival this year. We’ve been busy in the studio and End of The Road presents us with a fantastic opportunity to share some of the songs from our next album. The festival has been consistently great from the beginning and this year looks like it will be no exception. The line up is phenomenal."
Last month a huge first wave of acts was confirmed for the fest, including headliners Joanna Newsom, Animal Collective, and Bat For Lashes.
Final tier tickets are now available from £195 with no booking or transaction fees. There is a deposit scheme in place which allows you to pay £45 now, and then the rest in June.
End Of The Road 2016 takes place 4-6 September at Larmer Tree Gardens, on the Dorset/Wiltshire border.
Last year's 10th birthday event was headlined by Tame Impala on Friday, Sufjan Stevens on Saturday, and The War On Drugs on Sunday.
