Broken Social Scene have shared their huge new single "Boyfriends", arriving with a fun video made entirely out of GIFs.

The new single arrives ahead of their new EP Let’s Try The After – Vol. 1 that lands tomorrow.

"Boyfriends" lands fittingly on Valentine's Day, and reminds us all that it's perfectly fine to be single - who needs love anyway?

The accompanying video is pretty fun too. Directed and edited by Jordan Allen, it's an uplifting collage of GIFs that will help wash the Valentine's blues away.

Whether you're trying to forget an old flame, or just trying to enjoy being single, Broken Social Scene's new single has got you covered with lyrics like "And they’ll become their dicks / Puke on your heart / They’re gonna make you sick / It’s gonna get real dark".

Broken Social Scene's new single is the second to be shared from their new EP, after last month's "All I Want".
