Broken Social Scene are releasing a new album this year
Broken Social Scene have announced a new spring tour ahead of a brand new studio record later this year.
The new shows include two UK dates: Manchester's Albert Hall on 23 May and London's Brixton Academy on 24 May. Tickets for both go on sale at 9am on 24 February.
The Canadian collective made their welcome live return last year with festival dates across the summer, including at End Of The Road in September.
Broken Social Scene's follow up to 2010's Forgiveness Rock Record is set to feature Feist. The Toronto-based outfit debuted a new cut live in Paris, but a studio version is yet to emerge - will it appear on the LP?
Details of their upcoming release remain scant but it's coming this year. Will it arrive in time for their European dates towards the end of May?
