Brittany Howard announces Jaime Reimagined album featuring Childish Gambino, Bon Iver, Syd and more
Brittany Howard has announced details of her forthcoming Jaime Reimagined album, which will feature new versions and remixes of tracks from her debut solo album by Childish Gambino, Bon Iver, Syd and more.
Howard's debut solo album Jaime landed in September 2019, and nearly two years on, Howard has announced a reimagined version of the album featuring remixes and new versions of the tracks.
The announcement is accompanied by a Little Dragon remix of "Presence" and a BADBADNOTGOOD remix of "Tomorrow".
Jaime Reimagined will also contributions from Childish Gambino, Bon Iver, Syd, EARTHGANG and Jungle, as well as Michael Kiwanuka's rework of "13th Century Metal" and Fred again.. and Joy Anonymous' version of "Stay High".
Howard says of the reimagined album, "Making Jaime was so much fun for me because I was able to explore so many different genres of music. There were no rules. This reimagination project has been no different. I have been honored to have so many incredible artists from all musical worlds interpret my songs in such interesting and different ways."
