Britney Spears says she still has "a lot of healing to do" after father's conservatorship suspension
Following her father's suspension from her 13-year conservatorship last week, Britney Spears has revealed to fans that she still has "a lot of healing to do".
Last week Jamie Spears was suspended from his role as Britney Spears' conservator after 13 years following multiple objections from the popstar. The judge appointed an accountant chosen by Spears' legal team - John Zabel - as the temporary co-conservator of Britney Spears' estate, saying it "is in the best interest of the conservatee."
Next month there's due to be another hearing on 12 November to discuss whether the popstar's conservatorship should be completely terminated.
Following multiple posts from her celebratory holiday, Spears told her Instagram followers that while there's much to celebrate, she still has 'a lot of healing to do".
Spears wrote, "Although there is change and things to celebrate in my life, I still have a lot of healing to do !!! Thankfully I have a good support system and am taking time to understand it’s ok to slow down and breathe !!!!! Only through self love I can pray … love … and support others in return !!!!"
