Britney Spears calls out sister Jamie Lynn for selling "a book at my expense"
Britney Spears has shared a lengthy post on Twitter responding to her sister Jamie Lynn's Good Morning America interview, and has criticised her for selling "a book at my expense".
Earlier this week Spears' younger sister Jamie Lynn took part in a Good Morning America interview to promote her upcoming memoir Things I Should Have Said, and during the interview, she spoke about her relationship with Britney Spears, and how her behaviour was "erratic, paranoid and spiralling."
Last night (14 January) Spears responded to Jamie Lynn's interview via Twitter, with a lengthy statement. Spears wrote, "The two things that did bother me that my sister said was how my behaviour was out of control. She was never around me much 15 years ago at that time... so why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense???"
Spears also wrote about how Jamie Lynn "never had to work for anything" and that "everything was always given to her."
Later in the response, Spears wrote, "Hope your book does well Jamie Lynn !!!!"
Spears added that she'll be taking a break from Instagram, and wrote about how her "family ruined my dreams 100 billion percent" and that she's "digusted with them."
