Bright Eyes, Stephen Malkmus and more to play Love Record Stores' 24-hour livestream
Love Record Stores will host a 24-hour virtual in-store event next week which will include performances from Bright Eyes, Stephen Malkmus, and many more.
Love Record Stores Day will take place on 20 June instead of the rescheduled Record Store Day 2020 event (which is now split across three days - 29 August, 26 September and 23 October), and aims to support independent record stores during the coronavirus pandemic with a bunch of exclusive vinyl releases.
Tim Burgess has already been announced at the ambassador of this year's event, and it's confirmed that he will perform as part of the 24-hour virtual in-store event Love Record Stores Day will be hosting.
According to NME and Music Week, Burgess will play the event alongside Bright Eyes, Stephen Malkmus, Fontaines DC, Laura Marling, Phoebe Bridgers, Orlando Weeks, I Break Horses, John Grant, Khruangbin, Craig David, Brittany Howard and more.
There will also be DJ sets from the likes of Fatboy Slim, Ghostpoet, Metronomy, Kelly Lee Owens, Richard Russell, Daniel Avery, Erol Alkan, and others.
