
Bright Eyes announce first album in nine years with new single "Mariana Trench"
Bright Eyes have finally announced their first album in nine years, Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was, alongside sharing new track "Mariana Trench".
"Mariana Trench" is the fourth single to be shared from Bright Eyes' comeback LP, landing after earlier outings "One and Done", "Forced Convalescence" and "Persona Non Grata".
Down in the Weeds, Where the World Once Was will follow on from the band's 2011 album The People's Key, and was recorded during sessions at Omaha’s ARC Studios, Los Angeles’s Electro-Vox, and
LA’s Capitol Studios.
The new LP features a rhythm section made up of Jon Theodore (Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, One Day as a Lion) and Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea.
