Brandon Coleman announces second album with lead cut "Blast Off"
Brainfeeder's Brandon Coleman has returned with the announcement of his second album Interstellar Black Space, and has unveiled "Blast Off" as the lead outing.
"Blast Off", which lands with a video directed by Manuel Rangel and Coleman, is the LA musician's first new material since his 2018 debut Resistance.
Coleman says of the new outing, "I wanted to write something that I would want to hear whilst traveling from planet to planet searching for a rare precious metal that we need to bring back to Earth."
The new song will appear on Coleman's Interstellar Black Space album, which he describes as "a celestial encounter for your eardrum."
He adds, "This record is a reflection of how I felt about time, space, and celestial energy. I love space movies like Interstellar and The Martian – and I thought to myself, if I was traveling through space what would I want to hear?"
Coleman's new album will feature collaborations with Kamasi Washington, Ben Williams, Marcus Gilmore and Keyon Harrold.
