Brakes announce Give Blood anniversary show in Brighton
Brighton's indie-rockers Brakes have announced a special one-off show to take place this June.
The band will be celebrating 10 years since the release of their lauded debut, Give Blood, and will perform at the Brighton Concorde 2 on 19 June.
Announcing the news on Facebook, the band wrote:
"10 years since 'Give Blood' Brakes are back from the wild frontiers, half men, half porcupines. They’re ready to surf over thunderstorms, ride down streaks of lightning, wade through the Atlantic and jump the English Channel, all to get to Brighton by the evening Friday 19th June 2015, when they will be blasting out their superior party rock, live and direct, for one night only."
