The Andy Warhol Museum is set to mark the 20th anniversary of its opening by hosting a multimedia event later this year.
The Exposed: Songs for Unseen Warhol Films event will see a host of musicians soundtracking a series of unseen Andy Warhol films live, with the likes of Bradford Cox, Eleanor Friedberger, Wareham, Television’s Tom Verlaine and Suicide’s Martin Rev all taking part.
It’ll take place on 24 October at UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance in Los Angeles, before heading to the BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York from 6-8 November.
The films will star Edie Sedgwick, Marcel Duchamp, Donovan, Warhol himself and more.
