Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and Dan Deacon lead new additions to Tremor 2016
Bonnie Prince Billy and Dan Deacon will play at this year’s Tremor music festival in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel island in the Azores.
They join headliners Black Mountain, Suuns and Julianna Barwick at the March event. Also announced to play are Bitchin Bajas, Clinic, HHY & The Macumbas, and PAUS.
This is Tremor’s third year in existence. A Best Fit favourite, it’s one of the most unique music festivals in existence, with only a few thousand tickets available. Taking place in the largest city on São Miguel Island in the Azores, the festival runs across multiple stages in the city - local theatres, cafe, clothing stores, and chruches. Its goal is to revitalise Ponta Delgada through "a musical and creative vibration that promotes a unique experience of the city."
The full line-up so far for Tremor is: Bitchin Bajas & Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Dan Deacon, PAUS, Capitão Fausto, Black Mountain, Suuns, Julianna Barwick, Filho da Mãe, Clinic, Lost Tapes DJ7, Bitchin Bajas, HHY & The Macumbas, Equations, Killimanjaro, Spank Lord, Rafael Carvalho, Rapeciâz Trio, Za! + ESMUSICA.RP, Sara Fontán, The Ultimate Love Gang, Zeca Medeiros, and #hiphopaçoriano (Fred Cabral, DJ Rush Rap, Swift Triiga, DML). More announcements are coming sound, festival organisers promise.
