Justin Vernon played a new Bon Iver track called "Things Behind Things Behind Things" during Bernie Sanders' virtual town hall event on Saturday (4 April).
Vernon played a few songs after Soccer Mommy performed earlier in the stream. As well as playing a few Bon Iver tracks and a cover of Bob Dylan's "With God on Our Side", the musician also debuted a new Bon Iver track titled "Things Behind Things Behind Things". Watch Vernon's performance from the 1:02:00 mark, and the new Bon Iver track from 1:10:35.
Although Bon Iver haven't released any new music since their 2019 LP i,i, Vernon did contribute to Bonny Light Horseman's "Bright Morning Stars" track in January.
Last week, Bon Iver started donating 10% of all merch sales from their site to Wisconsin-based organisations Feed My People and the Chippewa Valley Artist Relief Fund to help people struggling during the coronavirus pandemic.
