After an emotional rendition of "____45____", Vernon tore into "Creature Fear" from Bon Iver's debut recored For Emma, Forever Ago to close the short set.
The show comes ahead of Vernon's involvement in an intentionally nameless two-day, not-for-profit music event this weekend in association with the famous Michelberger Hotel - a longtime favourite resting hole for bands visiting Berlin.
Vernon has collaborated with the likes of The National's Aaron and Bryce Dessner, Gayngs' Ryan Olson and director Vincent Moon on the event, which places collaboration at its core. Around 80 artists are also involved inclusing Nils Frahm, Damian Rice, Sam Amidon, Woodkid, and The Staves.
