Bon Iver covers Bob Dylan with the Blind Boys of Alabama choir
As recently revealed, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon teamed up with the Blind Boys Of Alabama, a gospel choir group who have been running since the late 1930s, for the recording of their new album.
The LP – out in October – will feature the likes of Tune-Yards,Sam Amidon, Casey Dienel of White Hinterland, Shara Worden of My Brightest Diamond and Patty Griffin among its star-studded personnel.
It also stars Vernon covering Bob Dylan’s ‘Every Grain of Sand’ with the group. You can check that out over at Pitchfork, while the choir’s previous collab with Lou Reed can be streamed below.
