Body Type announce debut album with first single "Sex & Rage"
Body Type have returned with their first new single in three years "Sex & Rage", which is accompanied by news of their debut album Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing’s Surprising.
"Sex & Rage" is the Australian band's first new material since their 2019 EP EP2, and is teamed with a Madeleine Purdy-directed video.
Vocalist Sophie McComish says of the single, ""Sex & Rage" is a reflection on finding passion amidst feverish banality. When you are uninspired, when you feel sad that the general public would rather look at their phone screens than what's hanging on the walls of the Louvre; when lovers leave you just like they always do and everything feels like a cliché - remember the feelings that set you aflame, and the things that make those feelings happen. For me, it's Body Type and cryptic crosswords."
The new track will feature on Body Type's debut album Everything Is Dangerous But Nothing’s Surprising, an entirely self-funded body of work recorded and mastered by Jonathan Boulet.
