Boards of Canada to host new album listening parties in UK record shops
Miss last night’s “live album transmission” from Boards of Canada that pretty much crashed Twitter? Well, you’re about to get the chance to hear their new LP in full from the comfort of your local record shop, with the electronic duo announce a simultaneous series listening party events.
Tomorrow’s Harvest will be played in full at a number of UK independent stores at 12.30pm on Monday (10 June), the record’s release very release date. Among the outlets involved are London’s Rough Trade East and West, Bristol’s Rise, Piccadilly Records in Manchester, Banquet Records in Kingston – among others.
Before then however, it will also get a similar outing in Ireland on the Irish release date this coming Friday (7 June). You can check out the full list of branches involved below.
