Blur and Oasis officially end Brit Pop Wars, team up to tackle cancer
The Brit Pop Wars are over, our friends, as Blur and Oasis join forces to tackle cancer.
The line up for next year’s Teenage Cancer Trust gig series has just been announced, with Noel Gallagher set to play a show with former rivals Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon.
Gallagher released the following statement on the news:
“Teenage Cancer Trust do a brilliant job, and I’ve always been more than pleased to lend my support over the years.
“It’s also now a charity that is very close to the hearts and minds of dozens of acts in the world of music. It’s an honour to have the task of putting together the bills for next year’s series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall.”
