Blue Hawaii announce Tenderness, their first record in four years
Blue Hawaii are back with "No One Like You", the lead single from upcoming record Tenderness.
Blue Hawaii's follow up to 2013 LP Untogether is described as a "concept album... [about] the challenges of handling relationships online."
The production/DJ pair - made up of Ra (Raphaelle Standell of BRAIDS) and Agor (Alexander Kerby) - kickstarted the latest era of Blue Hawaii last year as they explored how the worlds of intimacy and technology overlapped. Tenderness is inspired by "'90s dance tracks and deep disco cuts" and merges organic and synthetic ideas together, with interjections in the form of "skits, phone calls, acoustic demos, real life samples, and quiet left turns".
Blue Hawaii have a handful of European dates confirmed for autumn, including a London show at The Pickle Factory on 21 November.
