Blossom Caldarone returns with new track "Girlfriends"
Blossom Caldarone has returned with "Girlfriends", her second single of 2020.
"Girlfriends" is the latest release from London's Blossom Caldarone, following February's "Less of a Girl".
The new single is accompanied by a video directed by Theo Batterham, and sees Caldarone act as a psychiatrist for various men.
Caldarone says of her new outing, ""Girlfriends" is a song based on my experiences with men I am close to, and how their fear of speaking out about their difficult feelings has affected our relationships. It let my ex boyfriend and I down and it’s an issue that doesn’t discriminate; men of every age seem to, and often do, suffer from it's wrath. Male mental health is a huge problem and one that requires attention and time. "Girlfriends" is just a story that gives the issue a platform."
She's yet to follow up her 2019 EP Not My Stories To Tell.
