Blood Red Shoes release new single "MURDER ME"
Ahead of their GHOSTS ON TAPE album arriving next week, Blood Red Shoes have unveiled a third single from the record titled "MURDER ME".
"MURDER ME" is the third release from Blood Red Shoes' new album, following last year's singles "I AM NOT YOU" and "MORBID FASCINATION".
On Instagram, Bloood Red Shoes wrote that the track is "a spooky song from the darkest depths of our strange, true-crime obsessed, serial killer podcast-addicted minds."
GHOSTS ON TAPE will follow the duo's 2020 album Get Tragic, and is produced by Tom Dalgety (Pixies, Royal Blood). The album was written in LA and recorded at Echo Zoo Studios in March 2020, before last year's Ø EP.
Steven Ansell said of the album, "Ultimately this album is an invitation. It’s us saying, this is our world, these are our darkest thoughts and feelings - our ghosts - caught on tape. You are welcome to join us. Come and embrace the strange."
In October last year the band's Laura-Mary Carter announced her debut solo mini-album Town Called Nothing.
