Blood Red Shoes' Laura-Mary Carter gives update on solo project
Laura-Mary Carter of Blood Red Shoes has given an update on her long-awaited solo project.
Blood Red Shoes returned with their first album in five years, Get Tragic, in January.
In 2017, three years after Blood Red Shoes released their self-titled and self-made fourth album, Laure-Mary Carter of the duo announced that PRS Foundation had provided her with some funding as part of their #womenmakemusic initiative to create her debut solo EP.
Two years on and Carter has given an update on her solo work via Instagram, having wrapped up the Blood Red Shoes UK tour last month.
Carter wrote, "Been two weeks since tour and I am still recovering but benefits to being a hermit is that I can finally finish my solo project which has been a long time coming. Excited to share with you all soon what I’ve been working on."
