Blood Orange teases new album during hour-long Beats 1 special
Blood Orange is teasing new material from his upcoming record as part of a new special show on Apple Music's Beats 1.
Earlier in December Dev Hynes - the mind behind Blood Orange - performed two benefit shows at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, with special guests like Solange, Nelly Furtado, and more all joining the fun. Proceeds from the benefits were donated to the Opus 118 Harlem School of Music.
Hynes and Yours Truly joined forces to chronicle the performances in an hour-long show for Apple Music's Beats 1. As well as live recordings from the shows and behind-the-scenes interviews, there are clips of Hynes' forthcoming third record as Blood Orange and two new tracks - "Hadron Collider" (a collab with Nelly Furtado released via cassette at the shows) and "E.V.P." (an unreleased effort with Bea1991).
Listen to the show via Apple Music.
Back in October, Hynes released a new single titled "Sandra's Smile".
