Bloc Party have unleashed booming new track "The Good News".
This track follows "The Love Within", the band's first official single without original rhythm section Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong, which is taken from their upcoming fifth LP HYMNS.
There are big, bassy vocal harmonies in the chorus, and the group expand upon the country-western nods on fourth record Four. While it's very much more guitar-based and less obviously 'new' than "The Love Within", the band sound refreshed, cohesive, and bolder than ever.
HYMNS is out via 29 January 2016 via Infectious Music/BMG.
