Bleachers and Jason Isbell cover each other's songs for new 7" single
Bleachers and Jason Isbell have teamed up to cover each other's songs - "45" and "Dreamsicle" - for a new 7" single that will benefit Ally Coalition.
The new 7" single sees Isbell cover Bleachers' Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night track "45", while Bleachers cover Isbell and the 400 Unit’s Reunions song "Dreamsicle".
A teaser video featuring clips of both the covers has been shared on YouTube.
As Stereogum notes, the 7" single will see all proceeds going to Ally Coalition, the LGBTQ equality group that Jack Antonoff supports with an annual Talent Show.
Antonoff said of the 7" single, "Jason Isbell is the shit!" while Isbell said, "Love this Bleachers song, I love what Jack did with "Dreamsicle". This was a hell of a lot of fun!"
