Indie-pop group Black Kids have released Rookie, the long-awaited follow up to 2008's Partie Traumatic.
As Stereogum note, the Floridean outfit released their second LP over the weekend. The full album arrives after unexpected heavy-hitting lead single "Obligatory Drugs" dropped late last year.
"After a million bajillion years, ROOKIE, our NEW ALBUM is here!" the band write on Facebook. "Tell your mother, your father, your dog and your brother, etc...anyone who can be bothered! LOVE U 4EVER!!!"
Credits on Bandcamp reveal that Rookie was recorded in 2015 in Athens, Georgia and produced with Andy LeMaster. Listen to it below.
Rookie is out now. You can get it via Bandcamp.
