Black Deer Festival announce Jade Bird, Imelda May and more for 2021 edition
Kent's Black Deer Festival has confirmed the first names for their newly-announced 2021 event, including Jade Bird, Imelda May and more.
The 2021 festival was originally due to take place at Kent's Eridge Park from 18-20 June, but following the UK government's coronavirus recovery roadmap announcement last month, Black Deer Festival was forced to delay the 2021 event by one week, and will now take place from 25-27 June.
Organisers have today (12 March) shared the first wave of names confirmed for the new 2021 dates, which includes Jade Bird, Imelda May, Robert Plant’s Saving Grace with Suzi Dian, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Ward Thomas, The London African Gospel Choir interpreting Paul Simon’s Graceland, Talisk, Emily Barker and Lady Nade.

Festival co-founders Gill Tee and Deborah Shilling say, "We’re very excited to be able to push our plans, bring together our beloved community for a 2021 edition of Black Deer and deliver one hell of a (safe!) summer party. The UK live music industry has been hit hard and we feel it is so important to support our artists, their teams and the wider festival community at the earliest opportunity. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re doing everything we can to make Black Deer Festival 2021 one to remember!"
As well as boasting a great music lineup, Black Deer Festival will also see the return of the Live Fire Arena, which will see a variety of chefs cooking up a storm.
This year's festival will also see organisers offer early entry to ticket holders from 4pm BST on 24 June for an additional fee.
