Björk will perform a special show during Iceland Airwaves 2016
Icelandic legend Björk will play a homecoming show at this year's Iceland Airwaves, performing at Harpa's Eldborg room on Saturday, 5 November - the penultimate day of the Reykjavík-based event.
Those who have already bought tickets to Airwaves get first dibs on Björk tickets before they go on sale to the general public via a special code from their ticket vendor this Thursday and up to 2 October. A maximum of four tickets are available per Airwaves ticket holder and we're warned that tickets may sell out for this special show before Sunday.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on 3 October from harpa.is and tix.is.
Dizzee Rascal has also joined the line-up while Stormzy has cancelled his performance "due to unforseen circumstances". Sin Fang, Mugison, Þórunn Antonía and Gunnar Jónsson Collider have also been added to the bill.
Björk joins an incredible line-up for the 2016 event including PJ Harvey, Julia Holter, Santigold, múm with Kronos Quartet, Warpaint and Of Monsters & Men. The event runs from 2-6 November.
