Billy Corgan reopens Madame ZuZu's Tea Shop after two years in new location
The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan has reopened his Madame ZuZu's Tea Shop in a new location after closing it two years ago.
Corgan and his partner Chloe Mendel originally opened Madame ZuZu's Tea Shop in 2012, and closed it back in 2018 after deciding the space was too small.
As Eater reports, the new location of their tea shop is in Highland Park, Illinois, and it reopened on Labor Day weekend for takeaway and outdoor dining.
Madame ZuZu's Tea Shop serves a range of gluten-free vegan dishes with their teas from the Rare Tea Cellar.
The old space did have room for live events and saw Corgan perform on a few occasions, but the new space is bigger, meaning Madame ZuZu's Tea Shop will be able to host in-store events once the coronavirus pandemic has passed.
