Bill Callahan previews new album with third single "35"

Bill Callahan has released new track "35" as the third preview of his forthcoming album Gold Record.

Each Monday, Bill Callahan is releasing a song from his upcoming LP Gold Record. So far he's released two tracks - "Another Song" and "Pigeons" - and today (13 July) he's shared a third - "35".

Gold Record will be Callahan's seventh solo LP, following on from 2019's Shepherd In A Sheepskin Vest LP. The new album features 10 tracks, one of which is a fresh version of Smog's Knock Knock track "Let’s Move to the Country".

The musician recorded Gold Record while touring his 2019 album, and recorded it with a band including guitarist Matt Kinsey and bassist Jaime Zurverza.

"35" is out now. Bill Callahan's Gold Record is due for release via Drag City on 4 September, and is available to pre-order now.
