Bill Callahan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy share cover of Billie Eilish's "Wish You Were Gay"
Bill Callahan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy are continuing to cover songs together, their latest being a cover of Billie Eilish's "Wish You Were Gay".
Over the past month Callahan and Bonnie "Prince" Billy have been covering songs. At the start of the month they covered Yusuf/Cat Stevens' "Blackness of the Night" with AZITA, and a couple of weeks ago they teamed up with Matt Sweeney for a cover of Hank Williams Jr.'s "O.D.'d in Denver".
The latest cover is one of Billie Eilish's "Wish You Were Gay", which sees them recruit The High Llamas’ Sean O’Hagan.
"Wish You Were Gay" was released last year as part of Eilish's huge debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?.
The covers follow Callahan's Gold Record album that dropped last month.
