Big Boi denies rumours of new Outkast album
After much speculation, Outkast member Big Boi has dispelled claims of a new record from the hip-hop pair upcoming.
The duo, consisting of Big Boi and Andre 3000, are celebrating their 20th anniversary with a world tour in 2014. This, however, is all fans will get for the time being.
“No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour,” the rapper told Revolt TV. “It’s just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there’s no album in the works, no.”
Big Boi did reveal that he’s been working on a third solo LP, however, as well as a Game of Thrones-themed mixtape.
