Beyoncé says 2001 Destiny's Child interview was tiredness and "not marijuana"
Beyoncé has addressed the 2001 Destiny's Child interview where they came off as being high, and revealed that it's just tiredness, "not marijuana!".
Back in 2001, Destiny's Child did a video interview where they discussed what animals they'd love to be. The video made the rounds on social media last year after someone captioned the video: "I’m convinced destiny’s child smoked so many blunts before this interview. Beyoncé "I love whales" is iconic."

In a new interview with ELLE which was published yesterday (9 December), Beyoncé has addressed the viral video in the fan Q+A. One fan asked, "If you could be an animal for a day, would you still be a whale?" Beyoncé responds, "I still love whales. And I love being in the ocean. And that video was after a 16-hour press day. Not marijuana!!"
Elsewhere in the Q+A, Beyoncé reveals her least favourite question to be asked, "Are you pregnant? Get off my ovaries!"
She also reveals that her favourite karaoke songs are "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes, and Eagles' "Hotel California".
