Amid controversy of dropping a certain b-word in her recent track ‘Bow Down’, Beyonce has announced that she’s set to host a festival in London “calling for change for girls and women”.
The event, named Chime for Change, will take place on 1 June at the capital’s Twickenham Stadium and will feature the likes of Florence and the Machine, Haim, Ellie Goulding, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, as well as John Legend and Timbaland.
It’s aim is to “engage with girls’ and women’s issues”, “end violence” and “to facilitate a coalition of individuals and organizations to amplify these stories and effect real change”.
Tickets are on sale now and can be found here.
