Beyoncé addresses Renaissance leak and thanks fans for their "love and protection"
Beyoncé has shared a new note addressing the leak of her new album Renaissance that's out today (29 July), thanking fans for their "love and protection".
Today marks the release of Beyoncé's Lemonade follow-up Renaissance, which she recently confirmed is part of a three-act project, and in a new note shared with fans, Beyoncé addressed how her fanbase - the Beyhive - handled the album leaking a couple of days early.
"So, the album leaked, and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you all can enjoy it together," Beyoncé wrote. "I've never seen anything like it. I can't thank y'all enough for your love and protection."
She added, "I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak into the club early. It means the world to me. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy."
