Beth Ditto, Shura, Pabllo Vittar and more contribute to new book We Can Do Better Than This
Beth Ditto, Shura and Pabllo Vittar are among 35 voices that have contributed to a new book titled We Can Do Better Than This: 35 Voices on the Future of LGBTQ+ Rights.
The 35 contributors for We Can Do Better Than This share their "stories and visions for the future" according to the book description through a series of "moving stories and provocative new arguments on safety and visibility, dating and gender, care and community."
Gossip's Beth Ditto, Shura, Pabllo Vittar, Olly Alexander and Mykki Blanco are among the musicians who have contributed to the book, which also features writing from columnist Owen Jones, writer/presenter/artist Shon Faye, author Kate Bornstein, photographer Wolfgang Tillmans, US actor/singer/songwriter/drag queen Peppermint, and more.
According to the book description, Pabllo Vittar writes about ending hate murders, while Years & Years' Olly Alexander writes about sex education in schools. Elsewhere Ditto discusses the need for more representation, and Mykki Blanco shares a vision to end HIV stigma.
