The Line of Best Fit SXSW party cancelled
SXSW announced last night that, for the first time in 34 years, the event will not go ahead.
We are absolutely devastated that the City of Austin has taken the decision to cancel the festival, especially for the artists, venues, and companies this will have a huge effect on.
We worked closely with SXSW over the past six months on our line up and were so excited for the event. We understand that public safety must be taken seriously, but know there will be a lot of acts displaced by this decision.
We are currently in discussions with venues in Austin about the possibilty of putting on a new party and if any bands are stuck and looking for a show, please reach out to us via Twitter or Instagram.
We'd like to thank SXSW for their efforts and hard work over the past months and hope to be back in 2021.
