Best Fit partners with Oui Love for a new French club night in London
Starting 9 March 2017 at Birthdays, there's a new club night in town, and it's all about French music. Get acquainted with the lineup.
Put on by promoters Rockfeedback and in partnership with Best Fit, the first Oui Love night coincides with the launch of their website, covering music made in France.
Juveniles
After a first EP on Kitsuné, Juveniles released a confident first album in 2013 that has the blueprint of New Order with the finish of NZCA Lines. They've been gearing up for their second album with the release of two excellent tracks, including "Can We Fix It", a steady pop anthem that owes a thing or two to Kraftwerk.
DBFC
Whilst you could reasonably bob your head in a controlled fashion watching Juveniles, DBFC is a whole other affair, which will propel you on the dancefloor. Simple and devastatingly efficient, the songs from the Paris / Manchester quator fill the gap between a show and a club night.
Bantam Lyons
Hailing from Brittany, Bantam Lyons deliver straightforward guitar-heavy songs with clean verses and powerful choruses reminiscent of Interpol.
SÔNGE
Quimper-born SÔNGE has drawn comparisons to BANKS and M.I.A. in the French press for her shadowy fusion - she melts deliciously dark R&B tones with hip-hop beats and synthy strands to sculpt leftfield electronic pop with a bold twist.
